After you confirm the loss of your passport, please follow the following instructions:

1. Report the case to your local police station to obtain report proof;

2. Timely contact with ISS of CFAU for a passport loss letter;

3. Bring the two above documents to Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau Entry-Exit Administration Team for an official passport loss certificate;

4. Take the official passport loss certificate to your Embassy for application of new passport;

5. Register with the police station for Temporary Accommodation Registration form again and apply for a new residence permit within 10 days of receiving new passport.
