The Beijing Government supports CFAU in accepting self-supporting international students by issuing scholarship that fully—or partially—covers the tuition fee, accommodation and so on. The Beijing Education Committee announces the distribution and criteria of scholarship in May each year.

The International Student Section, China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) is authorized to be responsible for the acceptance, review and approval of BGS applications at CFAU. The BGS of CFAU is preferably awarded to the Degree Program students.

Application:

The degree program students at CFAU as well as new students enter for the autumn semester, shall complete the Application Form for BGS at China Foreign Affairs University, and submit it to your department together with academic records, award certificates. It will be finally sent to International Student Section after your department signed.

Regulations:

1. The BGS is available to the students who are funded by themselves. Those who have other fund or China Government Scholarship can not apply.

2. The BGS includes1st Prize, 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize.

3. Students apply for BGS every year. Students who are awarded this year have to apply again for the new academic year.

4. If the awarded student has to suspend during the year, the scholarship will not be kept for the following academic year.
