CFAU accepts international students supported by Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS). Students wish to apply for CGS scholarships should prepare relevant documents and follow the instructions given by Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) on the preparation and submission of scholarship application. - Chinese Government Scholarship Type A -

Students should submit their scholarship application to Chinese embassy in their country, as instructed by CSC, instead of submitting CGS scholarship application to CFAU directly. The deadlines for type A scholarship application may vary, please consult the Chinese embassy in your country for detailed timeline.

Students who request a pre-admission letter from CFAU for the CSC type A application, please submit all you application documents (transcripts, degree, study plan, language certificates, recommendation letters etc.) to our email address: admission@cfau.edu.cn, meanwhile specify the program you are applying for, its teaching language and the deadline of your application. Pre-admission letter will be issued to those who pass university review.

- "High-level Graduate Students" Scholarship Program -

"High-level Graduate Students" Scholarship Program sponsors master's and doctoral students that are directly selected and recommended by designated Chinese universities. This program provides a full scholarship which covers tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and stipend.

    Please follow the application procedure.

    1. Applicants must apply through International Students Section website (https://iss.cfau.edu.cn/) to fill out the international student application form found under "Online Application"（在线申请）. Once you submit your application, you need to complete the payment of 600 RMB as the Application and Registration Fee. Please send an email to admission@cfau.edu.cn for university bank info. When transfer, don't forget to write down your name and purpose on the remark section, so that the financial office can identify the amount of money with the purpose. After completing the transfer, please send your screenshot of the bank transfer to our email. Note that the application fee will not be refunded.

Please complete your application by 22nd February. Late application will not be processed.

    2. After submitting, the university will review the application documents. Applicants will get the interview notice if the check of the application documents is approved. The university issues Pre-admission Letter for applicants who pass the online interview.

    3. Submit your application on the Chinese Government Scholarship website (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) and upload all the required documents before the deadline.

    4. The final result will be issued by the China Scholarship Council.
